Leaders & Legends

The Liberian Organization of the Piedmont's Leaders and Legends Hall of Fame

The LOP Leaders and Legends Hall of Fame honors the works, sacrifices, and the life of those individuals, who serve as role models and positive examples of civic-minded members of the community, state, and the world. A leader or legend embodies much of what makes us better and all of what makes us strive to be more than what others think is possible.

The nominee must embody Liberian Organization of the Piedmont's definition of a leader or a legend:

  • Leader – an influential living person who demonstrates the ability to guide others in the creation, maintenance, or performance of some idea, task, or service for the betterment of the community
  • Legend – a well known, influential leader (including retired or deceased individuals), whose legacy of thought, word, or action acts as a catalyst for the development of others
